Monitoring task
GitHub Copilot Access
Section titled “GitHub Copilot Access”This task requires you to review the course completion list and approve user requests. If you head over to your Outlook and find emails from __, that is the daily learning report from ServiceNow sending every day at 11.01 AM Indochina Time or 12.01 AM New York Time. So you can update the list anytime after that.
- Clone ASC Completion List to your local dev directory (eg.,
C:\Users\<lan-id>\dev) to allow for shell scripts to run. - Configure your JFrog credentials in
EwsAttachmentRetriever/nuget.config. You can find your JFrog token inUser Menu > Set Me Up > NuGet > nuget-remote<JFrog><add key="username" value="name-surname_xom" /><add key="ClearTextPassword" value="<PWD>" /></JFrog> - Run
.\Run.ps1to pull the latest report from your inbox and update the list. - Once the list in
README.mdhas been updated, commit and push only that file to the repo. Make sure to not push your credentials along with it. - Review all requests in My Tasks. The tasks are sorted in a descending order from the oldest to newest. It is recommended to start from the oldest (top) and navigate your way down to the bottom.
- If the email/name matches the one in the ASC List and the user has a green light, approve the request.
- Otherwise, if the user is not present in the list or has a red light, send the user an email.
